If you have purchased the optional disk expansion pack, you need to install this onto your server before you start the Installation process.
You will need a No. 2 Phillips screwdriver to perform this procedure.
Step 1. Remove the cover from the server dock connector. (Keep the cover for future use.)
Step 2. Insert the two hooks on top of the storage expansion unit into the corresponding openings on the bottom of the server.
Tilt the server down until the two posts on top of the storage expansion unit seat into the corresponding openings on the bottom of the server
This docking action attaches the server to the storage expansion unit. However, the assembly is NOT yet locked into place.
Step 3. While holding the top side of the server and the bottom side of the storage expansion unit, carefully turn the assembly over to access the bottom side of the storage expansion unit.
Step 4. Pull the latch on the rear of the storage expansion unit.
Step 5. Tighten the captive screws.
Step 6. Push the latch back in place.
The server-storage expansion assembly requires a higher wattage rating than the 120 W provided by the power adapter that shipped with the server. Use the 180 W power adapter included in the option kit instead:
a. Connect the power adapter to the server.
b. Connect the power cord to the adapter.
c. Connect the power cord to the power source.
