How to use the Monitoring Console to check server status

The Monitoring Console enables HPE, users and the users’ IT administrators to monitor and manage the server. The Monitoring Console is a web based console where you can view detailed monitoring information of all of servers.

HPE offers monitoring and management of the server as part of the overall service, while ensuring users and their IT admins have visibility of the server state and are enabled to control as much of the system’s settings as they need.

To access the Monitoring Console, you first need to connect via VPN to the HPE management cloud. Full details of how to connect via VPN are here.

Once connected via VPN, go to the Monitoring portal URL here:

Login using your Management account. (If you don't know your user account username or password, please raise a support request (top right of this page))

Once logged in to the Monitoring Console, On the left hand side, click on Services and then Customer Dashboard.

You will now see a screen which shows all of your servers, and the status of each service running on the appliance.

You can click on the Service Name (eg Anti Virus) to get more details of the checks.
