How to access the User Control Console

The User Control Console is a web based console using which you can

  • view the status of your server
  • create and manage users
  • create and manage groups
  • view the status of the file shares
  • change the WAN and LAN IP addresses

The User Control Console can be accessed by the Service Provider and the Customer (if the Service Provider wishes to release access to it to one or more Customer super-users). The Service Provider uses their Management account credentials to access it and the super-user(s) use their local Active Directory domain accounts. The console can be accessed over the local network or when connected to the server through the Management VPN.

You can find out the URL for the User Control Console from the Commissioning Console.

(The URL will be in the format You will need to replace with the Active Directory Domain name of the server.)

You will be taken to a page with two buttons:

On keying this URL, you will visit a page with two buttons.

Select Login as Local Administrator if you want to log in using a local domain account, noting that this account needs to be a member of the Active Directory group called Zynstra HAP Business Owner.

Select Login as MSP Operator if you want to log in using your Management account.

When prompted for a username and password, enter that information.
